The weather might be getting colder but we are looking forward to next year! That’s why race registration is opening for the 2024 calendar year event!
The Passion for Life 5K Run/Walk & 5 Mile Run brings the community together in the healthy exercise of running and walking while raising money for medical research at U of M C. S. Mott Children’s Hospital and local families. This year, our proceeds will benefit Pediatric Cancer Research at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at The University of Michigan Health System as well as our past Inspirational Families.
Over the past 16 years, the PASSION FOR LIFE ORGANIZATION, and this event specifically, has raised over $250,000 for medical research and local Inspirational Families.
Registration
Continuing what started, we are bringing back the virtual run option for the 5k run/walk! The 5k and 5 mile will still have an in person option to select during registration. All in person registrations will automatically be moved to virtual if we are unable to host in person.
If you have already REGISTERED for the event, let us take the moment to say THANK YOU to each and everyone of you for registering for the upcoming 2024 17th Annual event benefiting C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and pediatric cancer!

Event Packets
There are two separate opportunities for you to pick up your event packet and swag.
Friday Night (Early Packet Pickup)
March 22nd, 2024 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Walled Lake Central High School in Commerce Twp, MI (north main entrance)
Saturday Morning (Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup)
March 23rd, 2024 from 8:30am-9:45am outside in a tent near the start/finish, which is just outside The Beach Tiki Bar & Boil in downtown Walled Lake, MI (race location).
If you are picking up your packet the day of the event, we recommend packet pickup at least 15 mins in prior to the start time of the event you are participating in.
Event Start Times
The 5 mile run event starts at 10:00am and the 5k run/walk event starts at 10:15am.
